It was so easy using the plastidip....took about 5 hours because of the dry time between coats.

Image 262............Tape off was only 30-45 min. The key is you wanna leave a 1/4 inch gap between the tape and what you wanna paint, I tried to show it in the picture of the rear bumper.

Is there an easy way to remove the thin chrome pieces? I see on the rear bumper a spot to slide them to one side or the other for possible removal, but what about the sides etc?

I love this stuff - its amazing -- I did this to my grille and hood vent -- not a single nick -- and I just drove cross country 2,500 miles. I wish i could say the same for the windshield.

Best yet - when the day comes and I get a nick: I can just touch it up or redo it quick, easy and cheap.

Also, held up with ease to my 1700psi water pressure from about 6 inches.

After I was satisfied on all the coats I applied I let it set for about 1 hour, then I started the slow process of peeling off the tape and excess ( oh and yes plastic dip will come right off so you could spray it on the hood and come back and remove no worries). I purchased my cans from home depot in the paint section, it comes in spray cans and a quart size. I think it was $ 6 per can .......
