Just wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself and post a few pictures of the car I bought Saturday.





I've been looking for an E55 for sometime now, and with the knowledge from the people on here I expect to have a good time driving/maintaining this vehicle.

Also hoping to meet some local enthusiasts in the NoVA / DC area.

I can't this Saturday, Im in thte UK all this week and if I don't take the lady out when I get home, for valentines day she's going to be bull****. I'll definitely be around other times, thanks for the heads up though.

Is your car black or is it silver. Some days you have a black E in your sig and some a silver.

I'm embarrassed to say I don't know. When I get home Friday, I'll post a picture of the wheels. They are gunmetal/silver in color, it's hard to tell in either shot.

It was a trade in from someone who picked up a white E63 locally.

 

He has both - one's a 63, the other is a 550 I believe

(shameless plug) I have a brand new set of those wheels in my garage right now. The gunmetal inlay clashed with my blue/grey paint on my car so I never mounted them. Pm if interested.

It might have more: push start, Nav, sunroof (not pano), and Bi-xenon. I'm still searching around to figure out how I can tell what packages it came with, but I'm thinking asking another MB dealer to run the vin would work.

It was 80k miles, not to high and I thought the price was fair.

Check out the crank pulley, woudnt be the first time someone didnt know they had an aftermarket one.

I'm over this side of the lake about twice a month and stay in Mayfair, Soho is a ton of fun. Can you spend the queen in TX?

Just a warning though....You stay on this board for over 30 days, take a pic of your car now and then in 30 days !!! You will catch the mod bug pretty fast.
