E55 Mods and upgrades
Hey guys,
I am from New Zealand i giot a 2003 E55 AMG, i am extremly happy with the car as it proves to be far superior than almost any jap car around
The thing is that euro cars are not that popular here and is hard to find any parts.
Can someone share some cheap and easy upgrades to squeeze bit more out of the car?
All i managed to find so far is some extremly overpriced parts like exaust for over $10k or chip for $5k
Any help greatly appreciated.

Eurocharged Performance ML63 and TT lambo
We remote tune all over the world on a daily basis. All you would need to purchase is the tune itself, as well as the remote tuning cable. We would then be able to tune the car using a laptop and wireless internet at the location of your choice!

Step 1 : buy and install a wideband and datalogger (without it you are flying blind) ~$600
Step 2 : split the IC cooling system ~$150 - 600
Step 3 : buy headers, pulley (size based upon your goals), injectors and fuel rail (if going big), and get a custom tune ~$5k
Step 4 : Smile

removed the supercharger clutch, pulley upgrades, modified the supercharger internal gears, intercooler upgrades, sprint booster, methanol, new pistons (full engine rebuild), tuning still needs to be done to sort the air-fuel ratio. I'm actually in South Africa

Do a little searching and pay some one $300 to send you a canned tune for your car, there are several reputable tuners around the forums. They will mail you a usb to OBDII cable, and give you software for your laptop and you upload the tune they send you to the car from your computer.
From my short experience in the forum I would say grab a Eurocharged tune from shardul or a raceIQ tune from Anthony Leshaw. Both have labor day sale threads going right now that probably end today, better be quick.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce
so how do actual gains compare to claimed gains in our sort of conditions? (i'm in south eastern Aus so similar to you unless you are bottom of south island) also what did the price end up like with exchange rates?

I'm below Auckland. About NZ$500 but should work out better with your exchange rate. That included postage of the cable too. I haven't done the E55 yet, last was for the CLK55, it's a bit different, only a few HP but very noticeable increase in mid range torque.
