are these cars reliable?

Carry on.
It's a 90 minute wait at a Cheescake Factory in the middle of Ohio?
I only thought it was South Florida where the waits were long
I personally like the Miso Salmon Dish or the Factory Burger.
By any chance do you know what kind of bread do they serve you while you wait for your entree?
And I think the bread is the same everywhere. You get that sourdough one and the brown one with oats.

Stff and learn about the car. If you stick around enough you'll see why the regulars don't really care anymore
The E55 is a very different car than the Boxster as it has almost 2x the hp/tq and traction is a definite problem when flooring it. I never pushed the E55 hard, but was quite surprised at how well the car handles.
If you keep up with maintenance, your car should be just as reliable as your Boxster. Maintenance is usually oil/filter and fluid/filter changes. Nothing too hard to do, but repairs are another thing. For that, I would get an aftermarket warranty for the car as repairs are quite pricey!

P.S. Just sold a 996tt 2003 last year to get back into a 55! Just cant beat the torque and look on peoples faces when they ride shotgun and feel it! My wife explains it as all her guts being pushed against the back of the seat!

Off topic but the OP started a similar thread in the C32/55 section right after this one. So I think it's safe to say he's going to settle on a C Class
