What brake fluid are you using?

I am thinking about switching to Castrol SRF or Motul 600 in my E55, but want to find out what you people are using, how long you have been running it, and how you like it...

I am currently on OEM fluid, which was changed 6 months ago when I bought my car. Fade/boiling resistance is not horrible, but its not awesome. I am also running Porterfield R4s pads, and feel the fluid just isnt able to do these pads justice...

I ran motul 660 and Ate superblue in my M3 and after one VERY spirited drive down a mountain in MA, that had my brakes literally smoking... I will never run anything but motul 660 again

The OEM fluid is quite good. Never had a fluid problem at Thunder Hill or Laguna Seca. I would say that if the fluid is more than a year old, you would see improvement by flushing and putting dry fluid in.

Castrol SRF is certainly the highest performance stuff out there, but the manufacturer recommends flushing every 18 months. To be honest, it is a race fluid where it is rare to not change before every race, not s street fluid.

Motul and ATE both make excellent fluids at a fair price.

Having said all this, I have bought Ti backing plates which insulates the brake pistons from the heat and keeps it away from the fluid.

When you guys say "600" do you mean MOTUL RBF 600 Racing Brake Fluid (DOT4)?
