To find out if your car has the phone equipment installed, look in the pop up console to see if you see either of the following:



If you don't see it you are not wired up. If you do see it, you only need the BT puck.

I believe when we looked at your datasheet sheet it said low cost teleaid as one of the options, which would mean you are not wired for telephone, only emergency calls and Teleaid.

How was dealing with MB Lynnwood? Also being from the Sacto area, I’ve seen very nice looking cars pop up on their website (including yours?). Was the car as represented, without feeling like they were hiding anything? Was it worth making the trip up there to buy a car?

 

he bought the car from a private party, and had some work done at MB of Lynnwood.

 

You may also be able to get away with the "puck with tail" scenario, if this bracket isn't in the car.

I was able to use the puck with tail in my 04 & i think my cost was $108...install was 15 mins. If it'll work, i can hook u up.

 

03s and 04s came prewired. 05+ either had it all or just low cost teleaid.

no puck connector, but there is an AUX connection in the space below... although the audio sounds horrid when I plug in my iPhone - could it be a loose connection? or are they just that bad?

no charging either when plugged into that connector...

 

your iphone won't charge when hooked up to the aux input, or it won't charge when hooked to the ipod input?

to charge your iphone with the ipod cable, you need this.

 

Do you want the ipod adaptor that you can control with the steering wheel controls?

 

optimally I'd like to play tunes via iPod and integrate the phone as well
