I think Jerry can get you one

My car feels so different with it especially on wet roads and the track

Great job Steve, you were certainly committed to getting into the 10's right down the late night tune the night before. I think my friend said it best: "If you closed your eyes and heard his car fire up you'd think it was a 1970 chevelle with a big block and open headers. That car is too clean and pretty to expect it to sound like that." Good luck with getting everything else sorted out, it should only get better.

I can't thank you enough for letting me use your drag radials, I never thought I'd be able to launch so hard. Looks like I may need a set of my own.

Maybe our next outing we can line them up against each other. I just need to do some fine tuning and get my shifting problem fixed and it should be fun.
Absolutely! Can't wait.

And btw, Welcome to the 10's...

How big of a traction difference are drag radials from say Nitto NT-01s or Toyo R888s? I know those are R compounds street tires but how close would you say they are?

+1, same problem here on the 2-3 shift. Engine cuts out for a few seconds. I'm not sure if it's the ECU or TCU tune, but it didn't do this when it was stock. Please advise once the issue has been resolved.

Depend on your power level but drag radials are on a whole nother level than r comps. I've used both

Congrats brotha, all the hard work paid off.

My tcu is jumping from m and c mode into s mode on its own. You cannot keep it in m or c mode if you try with my tcu tune.

I think i only had 2 good shifting passes and those were test passes when i rolled into the throttle and didnt go WOT until 2nd gear and both times it had i small delay going into 3rd. The delay is so much that when the car takes off again it throws you back into the seat. Once this is figured out its going to be good

It happens on high HP / big pulley cars regardless of ECU / TCU tune provider.

I have an idea on what it is and I'll test this with GT-ER this week.
Funny, I experienced the exact same thing at the drag strip this past weekend in my C63. In sport mode with the traction control fully off, it would cut power for a second at redline on the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts. Was very frustrating!

If you need the car just let me know. I'm free this weekend.

You still need to grab some vbox post tune pulls?

Steve
Congrats man I know you worked hard to get here. Hats off man...you make it look so easy.

Btw I think the most impressive part is not the ten sec pass... But the fact that YOU drove the car that YOU built (with help of course) in a ten second pass before the car wasn't fully sorted.

All hail.....
