SC whine

SC whine
In the last few weeks my SC has been a bit louder than normal. The performance feels the same but something doesn;t seem right. Dont get mew wrong, I love the sound, but it means something is different and not working correctly. What should I look for to see where this is coming from? It is a boost leak, vacuum leak, valve cover leak? I do get the smoke from the hood vent every now and then so I think my valve cover gasket needs to be replaced but it has been that way for a year now. Let me know!
Thanks brothers!

Yes, col dense air will make more power and more whine,,,, so will adding bigger pulley and other mods.

Is your airbox correctly bolted up and securely plugged into your TB? If so then open them up to make sure your filters are still intact and are sealing the airbox properly

Take less than 1 minute and remove your S/C belt. Drive it nicely around for a bit and see if the noise is gone. Then put your belt back on
