I agree 335s are not exactly on E55s level in terms of class, room, prestige
but 335s are still very nice cars , my friend has an 07 coupe 335i and just with basic bolt ons and a chip he ran 11.95 at the drag strip.. Thats pretty impressive by any standards in nearly a stock car and he also get nearly 30mpg on hwy...not bad at all

Hes car 07 coupe Auto: JB4 chip, CAI intake, headers (not sure on the make), he added Meth injection kit and ran under 12s
I was surprised at the his times too and how little it takes for those cars to be that quick

Definition of bolt ons varies from each individual, but imo Meth injection is not a "bolt-on" mod. Also, was kind of tires and gas was your friend using. Id love to see the time slips I'd you have them. Bolt-on is just that..BOLTED ON and pump gas. I just find it hard to believe your claims when the 335 guys just always seem to have a hard time at the 1320s

But seriously the whole lag thing is over rated when it comes to running them. Just keep it in the rpm range and lag isn't an issue.

ok found one slip I think this was before he put headers on, it is 12.60 at 110.38mph trap speed 1.87 60ft times,, I know he was running street tires even under 12s cause he was talking about getting mikkey tmsons or something for drags, he ran 91 gas just like I did, we filled up at the same time.
