no problem. I was so impressed with the job he did on his car I've been meaning to go and do it on mine. Just the shop is a bit far for me to drive to. Only can get out there on a weekend and car needs to cool down so alot of time I don't usually have on the weekend

You mean like for example,the 3rd Sunday of every month or some sort of thing? I would be up for that, but would most likely not make it every time. I like the concept because people would get used to just knowing when a meet was going down.

What do you think the chances of getting one more meet in before the end of the year is? I'm guessing it won't be long before my little SL is nestled in my garage with its trickle charger going until I break it out once again in the spring. I could alway come down in my ML or C class 4-matic though. I might just need Jake to tune the wifes new C anyway.

Track Day Sunday 10/14 (Anyone interested?)

Great lakes dragway in Union Grove is hosting a open test & tune this Sunday 10/14 from 8am to 5pm. The weather forecast partly cloudy & 62 degrees. The Bears don't play Sunday & the Packers play late @ 7:20pm. Maybe we could meet at 11am? Food & beverage is available at the track.

For probably the last track day for me this year if anyone is intrested in going ill be up there after work so im hoping i can make it there around 7 or so to get a few runs in so if your down hopefully ill see you down there. I stopped by Kronos on my way back from Byron Dragway today. I had the gyro sandwich and it was AWESOME!

I will be stopping by there every time I go to the dragway.

The track prep wasn't ideal Wednesday night but their were over 90 cars their & lots of good racing.

Sunday is Great lakes Dragway Last official open race day from 9am to 5pm. It would be great if we could get a group of Mercedes their. I am shooting to arrive about 12:30.

I live in Wisconsin but work for a PD right on the lake in Illinois. We've been getting hit pretty hard today, the waves have been incredible.

Pleasant Prairie WI had the individuals that live on the lake right on the Illinois boarder evacuate due to the flooding.

Wow, the reach of this storm is pretty amazing. I heard lake Michigan was going to have some significant swells. I'm out near Delafield (25 miles west of downtown). It is just a bit windy here. Maybe more to come?

There will be a tailwind and D/A should be well negative. As close as us Chicagoans will ever get to ATCO.
