One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the properties of 304 vs. 409 stainless...a forum member asked me recently about the custom duals I had done for my car. I had them do it in 409 as it has LESS corrosion resistance as compared to 302 as Maryland still does a visual inspection with the ODB check. I didn't want anything appearing "out of place" given that I have no cats. Shiny=doesn't look stock

For those of you that keep saying to use Inconel. I visited Hendrick motorsports a few years ago when i worked for a Hendricks dealership and was told the cost of the exhaust on those cars were around $15,000 each. I know they use some trick stuff and oval tubing but i'm sure it would cost at least $5,000 for us and Inconel isn't easy to work with either.
