Exhaust mod question for Half Mile Event
Next month is a half mile event that I am preparing for. Im getting a rear tank and intake fabricated, grinding the tb shaft, modifying the stock fuel rail and getting injectors. My mods now are H/E, pump and tune and 180 pulley.
Now my question is that Im having my secondary cats removed and resonators replaced with an x pipe but should instead of welding the muffler side back should I spend the extra money on VBand clamps so I can remove that extra weight at the track? Also...should I do a primary cat delete even though Im still on stock headers?
Thanks for the opinions!

I have heard in the past that just removing the primary and secondary cats is a significant step in opening up the exhaust, thus adding more HP
