Some of the guys on this forum are straight delusional. Remind me a lot of a punk who thinks hes the best boxer in the world named Charlie Zelenoff. If you don't know who I'm talking about then search him on youtube and have a laugh.

Nice, that car is worth some money believe it or not. What year?

They are a unreliable hobbie / addiction for me. Money pits for sure, but easy to work on and tune.

I had a 92 Talon back in year 2000 in Montreal Canada, that car cost me $7K in 2 years of ownership but I had fun. Engine blow due timing belt went out, Tranny blow (stick), power stealing, change clutch..... you name it... Sold it at lost but it was fun. A friend of mine had 91 Talon, he crashed the car in 2 wks of ownership. We had fun.

Its a 1990. Black Cherry with cloth seats. Manual Windows Original Owner. Onle needed the timing belt replaced under recall. I did all the maintenance to it. Bought it for under $ 18,000 cdn brand new from the dealer. Uncle worked for Chrysler FInancinal so we got the family discount.
Very easy to work on. I still drive it from time to time

Nope it was a stripper....It was the first one in Canada. Insurance company never heard of it before so it based the rates on a Toyota Celica ST
Manual Window/Locks, No Sport Seats, No A/C, Basic Radio
Had 16" Twist Alloys, Two tone paint

The next model year TSI Turbo and TSI AWD came with all that stuff.
All my mom cared about is that is was purple. Can you believe i didnt want the car when she offered to give it to me when i was 17?

You are lucky to get a brand new one. Mine was a trouble maker........ spend so much money fixing it but never regret. I had so much good time with it. My 92 has some face lift in the front and rear bumper, always loved that look. The Eclipse after 98 are the most ugly.......

Toadster is not human, he's a mutation, a mistake in the course of evolution and is inferior to homosapians. He should be liquidated before he mates and ruins the genepool

Good stuff on the DSM's guys. Never thought there would be so many owners or past owners here. We should start another thread to share pics and stories?

Used to own a 98 GSX. It was the most unreliable piece of poop.

But I've never had so much fun breaking a cars axles over and over.

540 whp power train atom bomb.
