STAR Lowered, now right side higher than left
Hi there,
Just picked up my car from my Indy shop after having them do STAR lowering.....right side is noticeably higher (greater than 1 inch). They did mention it was that way prior to lowering.
Anyone know the proper procedure for fixing this?

I believe both front and rear left are sitting an inch or two lower than front and rear right. I can snap a couple pics in a few....

Yes they have done before, but not something they do very often. I did provide the full DYI printout to them.
Hoping someone has some guidance I can go back to them with to help them fix.

rear ride height is irreverent (as far as leaning) on these cars. they use 3 sensors. lf, rf and rear. if the fronts are level so should the rear. my guess is that he did it improperly. the lf and rf voltages will change differently from side to side. ex when lowering lf sensor voltage goes up while rf sensor voltage goes down. ( i may have that reversed, going from memory) he may of changed it so the voltages were the same and now it leans. Have your indy double check his work

They probably lowered it and kept the voltages the same for the front driver and passenger sides which explains the gangster lean your car has going on. Let them redo it but this time by measuring fender gaps and not voltages.

Measuring tape is your friend with star lowering. I spent an hour pacing around the car with it measuring fender gaps and overall height.

what height do you guys lower to using STAR? i never seem to be able to get it looking right, everytime i put it on STAR the levels are different !
i want to setup a baseline setup so it low but not too low, then use the renntech kit to deck when i want to. need to get alignment done but need to baseline the suspension first.
thanks, and sorry if im hi-jacking the thread a little
