Ask for $15k. Check to see if the owner has all the service records. If you like it make an offer!! IMO

Just dont forget even though you are getting the car for cheap, the maintenance $$$ is still for a $80-90k car. Those costs wont depreciate like the price of the car itself.

If anything the maint. costs go up if you're in need of a rare part that's been out of production for a while.

+1 the repair cost don't depreciate much compare to the car its self. But if you can get it for $16k great deal. Prepare $5k extra in your pocket just in case. Other countries for this car still selling 3 times more expensive.

Keep your eyes on ebay, a good deal can sometimes pop up. This one just sold and it still had warranty. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1435.l2649

If you aren't going to mod the hell out of it, it may be worth pursuing a 3rd party warranty for a few years. From myself and others I know experience with used cars, typically there will be a lot of little issues at first that can really add up in cost, almost paying for the warranty within the first year.
