E63 Bumper Cover Project
Pretty stoked. Looky at what the friendly FEDEX driver left at my house today:
This one is the real McCoy - the genuine MB piece. No cheap ill-fitting dress for my mistress, baby.
I just dropped it off at the body shop for painting, and will start the build-up of the assembly later next week after I get it back from the shop.

I resisted doing this for a long time, but there's seriously no doubt the E63 bumper cover really freshens up the appearance of the car. I'm just waiting for a few more parts to arrive and getting the cover back from the paint shop, and then the facelift begins.

Maybe it's the just install work, but several of the pics I've seen show uneven or overly large gaps between the hood and the top of the bumper cover. Agree, it's a decent knockoff for the money though if that's your preference. It's not like doing this "E63" facelift, OE or repro, adds any resale value to the car.

Do you have the OME PART#?
Are all of the parts listed in the diagram required?
Are the needed parts that are required for the suvneer conversion, the same pieces that are required for the OEM kit?
I know that list is out there...but if someone has the complete list of ALL componants, would you mind replying or PM ing me please?
Thanks
John
