They are both good companies. Which has an authorized reseller/dealer near you? Might want to give them a call and get a feel for what they offer, besides heralding them just for their brand names.
Other than that, I don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm very happy with my Renntech E55.

I personally prefer Kleemann because direct contact with Kleemann Cory and the service is extremely fast. Renntech is way over priced for their product and the performance is same as Kleemann. Pulley wise all 168m.
Kleemann has more promotion going like Header for $1k !!! what can get wrong ! and I just passed Smog check ! One more point, Kleemann only do Mercedes means delicate in Mercedes unless Renntech for all other brands. For price, performance, service ==> Kleemann.

Agreed, I've check on their site and you right the price is a bit high for their ECU upgrade. I have contact Kleeman as far for the price yet but will do the comparison soon. Hope get it done this summer.. Been itching to get it done so bad!!

RennTech if you are in Florida / Palm Beach
Kleenman if you are in Colorado / Colorado Springs
Other than that, you can flip a coin.

Both are excellent... mod for mod, though, Kleemann seems to be the better value. Good luck either way; can't go wrong.

+1 Here. You can call Cory 24 7 and he will talk to you til your exhausted. Just love that guy!!! Going from stock to Kleemann Stage 2 (headers, tune and pulley) was just magic. What a blast.

Renntech vs Kleeman
In my opinion it a matter of Money/performance/tech-support/ history
Renntech is expensive and their results are very good , tech help excellent performance history top-notch .
Kleemann isn't as expensive in comparing the two , results as good or better, tech help excellent or even better than Renntech , performance history top notch. Yes you can go with other companies wont' name companies and some cutting edge tune that's risky just for couple horsepower. That puts you on the verge of blowing your engine if dont' drive the car right.
I choose Kleemann because my installers and other Mercedes performance installers love their tech support and parts distributed . As I've been told by my performance installer when you call these companies you get "SOMEBODY", no phone messages all day or phone tag. No bad experiences while your car is torn apart because of some unknown problem with their parts or installation instructions.Theirs no long list of blown engines , unhappy customers , pending law-suits , sudden disappearance of the performance part company ... you can't go wrong with Kleemann or Renntech

Out Of Control!!
Look at what the guy above me ran and that says everything.
Kleemann is cheaper, performs the same if not better, and has better customer service. Cory is DA man!!!! Definitely go Kleemann

you cant beat Kleemanns price and proven power.I have no problems with renntech but they need to figure out there market and stop pricing stuff for our cars like there worth 200k.I mean a BMW pump for like 3k crazzy haha
for the price of just a renntech airbox you can grab a kleemann pulley kit, headers and tune!!!

My '06 has been to Kleeman several times in Colorado Springs and they have transformed the car essentially uncorking another 100hp/100+ft.lbs and keeping the car solid, reliable and worry free.

Sorry, don't mean to be a spelling ****, but "Kleeman" is a pet peeve of mine.
