Flexible Fuel Line fitting info needed

Anyone know the technical description of the fitting at the fuel rail end of the OEM stainless steel braided flexible fuel line? ie: pipe, tubing, JIC, etc. I am pretty sure it is 14mm, but of the two fittings that I have sourced, neither seems to seat properly. I need to extend this line and cap the inlet port at the fuel rail.

Might want to feed the fuel from different part of the rail. Thats just a guess.

I am feeding the fuel rail from behind the Throttle Body area. I have looped the rail as well. I just am not convinced that looping alone is adequate. IMO the issue of lean #8 cylinder is due to the close proximity of the inlet to #8. Fuel is supplied via a 5/16" line at high pressure. It enters the rail, which is considerably larger, and hits the rail wall directly across from inlet port. I believe that turbulence, which is increased as pressure drops at WOT, is causing inadequate/inconsistent fuel supply to #8. Looping improves this condition but does not completely eliminate? Just my opinion.

It's called a "Komatsu" thread.

Great. Thanks tunaglove. We actually have Komatsu fittings at work. Again, thanks for the info!

Good idea. I would "T" the looped line and feed there (of course cap off the stock feed location.
