question for you, did you put the rims back together yourself or have a shop do it? I have some 360 forged rims that i'm replacing the lips on. I talked to 360 forged, and they said I should send the rims to them and they'll rebuild them for $25. problem is, I'm in Canada and the shipping cost would be astronomic. They told me that if I put the rims together myself, they probably won't come out round... what should I do? have a wheel refinishing shop put them together for me?

The shop I used put them back together and ran a bead of silicone, let it sit for a day, shaved down the excess so it was even and put everything back together. Then mounted the tires on the rims. I havent mounted them but will this weekend. Only then will I know if there are problems w them. But from what the owner said who does the powder coating and pretty much everything else said he checked each rim and nothing he saw was wrong w them. Not bent or out of round.
There is a thread on one of the bimmerforums wheee the guy did a two oe threebpiece himself and turned out fine. He didn't want to ship them to get done but did them himself
