case in point i bought my car with 42K on it... at 61K the airmatic went out and motor mounts needed replacing, total repair $3500 ... if you buy a 35K low mile car be prepared to incur this expense in the future... but if you buy a more moderate mileage car thats already had this done then someone else ate the cost for you already

also a 6yr old car that only has 35K miles on it (low mileage) is a car that hasnt been driven much and has been sitting around creating sludge in engine and dried out parts... cars need to be driven to maintain lubrication. Just look at the brake disc on a car that hasnt been driven in a week- rust all over.
Thanks for the write-up, and I have to agree a little with you. Also, 13,500 (81k divided by 6) a year really isn't that bad and it proves that it doesn't just sit allot. I have had my car for only 5 months and I already put 7k on it. I will defintely check maintenance records and such before closing any deal! Good thing I have my old race bike to ride to work everyday! Thanks again.....

My advice with your current ride: if someone cuts/darts in front of you (not yielding the right of way) run into them. Hopefully the damages will total your car. Then go and buy the flint grey one. Not saying to hurt or injure someone or yourself intentionally.

I bought my 06 3 years ago it was 3 years old car (2009) with 75K miles. At that time it was still not cheap with 75K miles. However, the previous owner had changed engine mounts, new tires, rotors/brakes.... you name it. I only did valve cover gasket seal, plugs, water pump, battery in the last 3 years of ownership. Total about $1500 spent. (Not include Header stuff) So average $500 per year of maintenance because the previous owner had done some works. Again, I don't think high mileage car is bad as long it was well taking care. My car has 88K now and I am telling you it looks and smell like new.

exactly, i wish i would have done that... not only would i have gotten the car at a lower price due to the higher miles but most likely the previous owner would have already had all the maintance done
