NEED SOME ADVICE

When it comes to cars I've decided that trying to rationalize anything is a waste of time especially if it's to the wife, she just thinks I'm an idiot.

oil valve covers leaking(not a big deal),rear engine main seal leaking(labor up the ***),all plugs and wires need to be swapped and can be done for about 300-350 in parts if you do the work yourself and about 1500-2000 if done at the dealer.
tranny flush and rear end flush is about 300 for the tranny and 150-200 for the diff at the dealer.
The car most def has a dead supercharger pump at those miles and you need to see how it shifts since it was prolly drove hard to get those miles racked up so fast.
I would stay away enless its a forum members car that can tell ya what has been done.
It also most def needs new engine and tranny mounts at those miles and maybe a few bushings here and there.
I would keep your low mile car man or like I said wait for a clean low mile 06 to pop up.Remember you can sell your car quick with its low miles and if you wait and look you can find a clean car.
I almost sold my car for 29k a few months ago and I litterally just had like 2k worth of things done and Im glad I kept it because I fell in love with the car again after not driving it for a few months while it was stored.
case in point i bought my car with 42K on it... at 61K the airmatic went out and motor mounts needed replacing, total repair $3500 ... if you buy a 35K low mile car be prepared to incur this expense in the future... but if you buy a more moderate mileage car thats already had this done then someone else ate the cost for you already
also a 6yr old car that only has 35K miles on it (low mileage) is a car that hasnt been driven much and has been sitting around creating sludge in engine and dried out parts... cars need to be driven to maintain lubrication. Just look at the brake disc on a car that hasnt been driven in a week- rust all over.
