The video talked about it at the end. The lap deltas were 2.54 seconds and only .4 of that was attributable to the HP advantage of the Camaro.
Put 800HP in that Mustang and you can erase the .4 second advantage (and probably gain another .6 second advantage) in the straightaways.... But the real beat down was happening in the corners and under braking. Even an 800HP Mustang will still be lagging by 1.5 seconds per lap!!! That's still huge...
Road courses reveal a cars "total package".....HP, suspension, brakes, etc. If the overall balance isn't there, it will be impossible to mask it with more power.
Put that Camaro on an expensive carbon fiber diet to trim some weight and it will be even more amazing on that track.
