Forgestar F14 guys come in here
I am thinking about having some light weight F 14 made as front runners for the track. I have a couple questions for people that have dealt with them, how long would it take to have two rims made, you guys think 17x5's would clear the front brakes with that style?

Takes like at least 2-3 months to get them made.. No real reason to go to 17s, my 18x 8.5 weigh in at only 18 lbs.. Not going to get much lighter than that..

Thanks homey, going to look them up today, do you have a link to the exact wheel? I see there are trackstar 4 and 5, thank you sir.
I sold the CCW track setup to a playa that will get way better use out of them, 320dreamer

craig you might try a search for the slk55 spare tire rim. its 5" wide and steel. should clear your 8 pots as it clears the 6 pot 360mm slk55 setup. you can mount the m/t sportsman tires on them. about 300$ each new

I recommend the 18x8's or so. I have 18x8.5 fronts and 18x10 rears and even though these are even wider than the OEM wheels, they are much lighter and stronger!

I will call them tomorrow and find out about pricing and fitment. Anyone know what backspacing, offset you would need for a 16x5 for our brake setup?

craig anything less than a 18" will need to be completely away from the caliper. measure from the hub center to the farthest point outborad of the caliper. has to be less then 8" to run a 16" rim
