Finally made my choice...E55 coming home
I can't wait! Test drove an 08' M5 (nice car) but after owning our GL550 for a bit...theirs just something about the Benz's. Should have this week, snapped a quick photo...2006 loaded up w/ all the options including the crazy seats, pano, keyless & the sexy 63 wheels. Finally parting w/ my little M3, I will miss the back road twisties I know but I also won't have kidney damage after a rough highway ride. Have a couple things on the list right away maitenance wise (just to be sure) then hopefully I can make it through a full calendar month before calling
ESS..doubt it! ( been silently reading in the background

Enjoy her in good health, and those are not E63 wheels btw.
This must be a new option that I did not get, but what are CRAZY seats

As for the seats, they do alot more then our GL550...they pulse, ventilated, & have a function where they pump the side bolsters around turns (dynamic?)...figured crazy seats would describe em' ok

And they usually don't work, so you've got that going for you, which is nice.

I've got an 87 WE4 with a stage 2 and 1969 Dodge Dart in butterscotch.
Congrats and all the best with the new addition to your stable of fine cars.

2006 E55
Congrats!
Would you mind telling me what you paid for it? I have a 2006 E55 Kleeman Stage 2 with 68k miles that I am considering selling. Having a reference will help me.
I have owned mine since 17k miles. It has been without a doubt the best car I have ever owned. Rock solid reliable, fast and comfy. You will be a very happy owner!
