Toadster, why would you need these if a cop totaled your car yesterday?

Any updates on the second shipment?

somewhat. . .the plastic parts that funnel the air in are a PIA to get off and make sure you have a drill bit for metal. . .other than that SUPER EASY. . .

M - check your PM - I got a question for you

Is it one drill hole per scoop in the front? or is there another drill hole I can't see towards the back somewhere?

Here are some pictures so you can see the way they need to be installed:

https://profile.live.com/cid-8b4f512...1320&sc=photos

The metal spacers were replaced by the small pieces of hose which you will need to cut to get both scoops identically placed since one side will only need a small spacer.

The plastic intake piece that has to be removed has 2 small grommets(1 per side) that need to be removed.

The horn needs to be positioned down by loosening the nut on the bracket and also on the back of the horn.

The headlight mount will need a little filing in order for the scoops to sit perfectly on both sides.

Once installed you can adjust the position very easily by moving the scoop into the exact position you want.

If you have any installation questions call me at 631-420-1500. Leave a message if I don't pick up and I will return your call when I get a minute.

BIG PROPS TO Alextaylor29 since he was the one that pushed me to do this group buy. THANK YOU ALEX!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the MB World members that participated in this group buy. I try and develop cutting edge performance parts to increase your cars performance and also its safety at the same time! You guy are why I do what I do!! A HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL!!!

I have 25 sets being picked up today from the fabricator and currently have 3 sets of gloss black available immediately if anyone is interested.

Thanks guys and Bruce for making this so easy for me to put this togther. The first batch shipped yesterday to everyone who purchased and the second batch for the second group buy should be done later this week. Once Bruce PM's me that their ready, I'll update the master group buy list for the second round and everyone can start submitting payment to Bruce via Paypal. No need to do this just yet, just be ready OK? One request he asked me to pass along is for you to list your, "Real Name" and MBworld forum name (so both) in the notes section of your PayPal payment.

Thanks again and get ready for round two!

Quote: Just got an email saying my scoops shipped! Thanks Bruce & Alex for setting this up.

So is install as easy as removing the OEM plastic thingies, drilling one hole per scoop and attaching? I can't tell from the pics if its one drill hole or if there's more.
Great to hear! Regarding installation I believe I quoted from Bruce and posted this on the first page or two of this thread so take a look there. Also perhaps other members could chime in on this part?

All,

OK I started a new thread for the second round group buy a few minutes ago so it's a bit easier to read/find. First rounders feel free to continue to post here, but all of you getting in on the second round, see the thread I just started OK?

Thanks!

And again thank you all for making it easier for me. I've never organized a group buy before so all of you were super easy to work with and a huge thanks to Bruce for doing this.

It's cool to see the power of this forum at work!
