Have u guys heard or uses rt66 aftermarket warranty? If so are they any good? They quoted me $2000 for 2005 e55 with 65kmiles.. 3yrs or 36000 miles. Covers everything that factory warranty covers except wear and tear, nav.. $2000 for e55 is cheap.

Really?? i called them a few months ago and they said no, since it was an AMG... who did you speak with? maybe i need to contact that person! please send me the info.

Did a quick google search for them and nothing horrible came up. Apparently a bunch of BMW guys use it with success.

Well i called their 800 # and provided VIN and was denied denied, due to being an AMG. No way around it. They need the VIN. Even specifically asked me if it was an E55 E350 E500.

I gave them my vin also and the said all the C lass and E class are covered

I have a warranty through them...I called them about my leaking gas tank and they refused to cover it....so we shall see

I just got off the phone with Rt 66 and Penfed. Rt 66 covers C and E class, but NO AMG models as of last year. I wanted to see if there was a change or not from last year when i applied. I tried back in Sept 2011 and paid the $1895 and was taken out of my acct. Three days later received an email from Rt 66 that they denied my application for warranty and refunded me $1895 back into my Penfed acct.

So if you guys did get the Rt 66 warranty for $1895 for AMG, you are LUCKY!!!

Interesting....I wonder if they will refund my contract price too ??? How can they take your money, give you a policy, and then say no thanks and refund the $$$ ???

Technically they didnt give me a policy. Penfed took $$ out from my bank acct to pay with the application they sent to Rt 66. From their internal review, AMGs were not included of C/E classes, thus returning my $$ back to Penfed.

Strange, I just bought another E55 this week (my first was July last year) and warranty is all set through RT66. Price $1,895 for 5yr/100k miles.

who was your lender? Penfed has on record that i tried last Sept and still a no go since its AMG.
