Anyone know how to remove "star" emblem on the trunk??

Anyone know how to remove "star" emblem on the trunk??
Hi guys ~

Im trying to remove my trunk "Star" emblem and couldnt do it.

I thought it was double sided tape but I think its something else !!!

Need some help ~!!!!

a unicorn tuned p30 e63
you have to break it off. its a one time deal kind of thing. the trunk has 3 holes and it mounts almost in the center. hope that helps

How do you stick it back on ??? Do I need to get a new one ?? Anywhere I can

You have to remove the inside paneling to get to it. There are three prongs that hold it on with plastic nipple looking things. Once removed you have to fill the holes and repaint the trunk. My car is debadged. This is what it'll look like. Much cleaner in my opinion unless it's a must that you show off it's a Mercedes E55 AMG. The people I want to know would already know how to tell so I really don't care.

NSX2NV Correct...I just did this on my e63 10 minute job
It is not a one time deal and you do not need to destroy the thing.
Remove the inner panel and you will see the 3 plastic prong just push them out and that is all.
I clay and wax the area before installing my new badge.

Unless E63 and E55 is different. I think they should be the same

i debadged mine, no more E55 or AMG on the rear. But kept the v8 kompressor on the sides
