My concern with any boosted car for towing is your motor will see pretty much constant boost under the load of towing..which would raise my eye to EGT temps in the cylinders and major heat soak w/ high IAT's. I tow multiple times a week w/ a turbo diesel truck made for towing and the EGT's get very high in hot weather especially on grades and the boost gauge is working non stop. Just my .02......that being said, it would look cool

I understand your concern, but I don't think anyone would tow more than a motorcycle or jet ski, etc with their E55/E63. I think boats, cars, etc would be a bit much...

Don't they tow with these cars in Europe?
They go caravaning with small diesel hatchbacks so why couldn't a e55 do it? I found a hitch from Germany for my 220 (bolt on) a while ago and it was rated to roughly 4500 lbs. I ended up buying a Yukon instead though
