My quest to find an '09 is officially over.

Because there was an issue with one engine? Okay, be sure to update us when you find a car that has never had an issue with an engine.

The 6.2 has been known to have valvetrain issues, it's not just ONE engine...there have been many.

Regardless, I do agree with the statement in bold. While there ARE cars that a generally bulletproof, they are generally boring. The biggest problem is how expensive those 6.2's are when they break.

As GT-ER said it's not just one engine and the fact that MB has failed to acknowledge the problem/design flaw. Thus, the class action law suit that has been well documented in this forum. Sure, there are other cars that have engine issues, but very few cost the big $$$ that this one does.

The op's engine was just the last straw for me.

So, hopefully, you are now less confused
