I was in an 03 back in 06 that I had for just under 2 years,really loved that car but had to get rid of it..It had pretty much all the mods that were available at that time (pulley,tune,h/e,tb,lt headers,trunk tank etc.) Since then I went through 2 300 SRT8's and a 2012 Mustang 5.0..But know I'm back where I belong,back in da Beast!!This past Tuesday I picked up a 05 Capri blue with 42k miles and very well optioned,I was able to get a good deal and a must have 3 year 36k mile warranty..Even though I had other cars and joined other forums,I always found myself coming back to MB World..Having said that,let the modding begin,I have a lot of catching up to do

How did you like the Mustang?

Did you think about the new GT500? 650 hp doesn't look too shabby.

 

Being that I had several Fox body 5.0's back in the day,I decided to get back into one..It is a totally different car then it was,much better braking,handling,power,all around much improved..Having said that,just not what I wanted,kind of an impulse buy..I kept it for a year but was never really happy with it..The new GT500 should be a monster!!

 

Welcome back, and I would think some of the mod options are better than what was offered a few years ago, like the looped fuel rail.

I still have my Fox Body, but I don't drive it anymore. Owned it since 1998. I test drove the 2011 with much anticipation, and had such high hopes and was sure that after reading up on them, I would buy one. But after I test drove it, I was not impressed and actually kind of bummed out. Then I found the E55. Totally different cars, but the one (E55) I bought was the same price as a new 2011 GT. Glad I decided on the E. Now I have to decide on whether or not I'd like a new GT500, or an SL55....if I decide to get rid of the E55.
