JUST aftermarket muffler suggestions for E55?
I see people are into using CLS muffers, SL mufflers and such. Instead of waiting to locate a pair, has anyone tried just buying something new Magnaflow, Borla, etc.? I'd like a little more growl but don't want to work too hard for it.

Any other suggestions would be great!

I had Magnaflow on my old E55 and there was serious drone. However, some people on here have Magnaflow and love the sound.

^^^ but, then I'm trying to locate an entire stock C63 exhaust? Or just the mufflers?

Or, are you suggesting just walking into Merc and buying from the parts counter?

No you just need mufflers/tips.

If you go to MB, it will be close to $3000-4000. There is someone on here selling C63 exhaust on eBay.

Well they are selling it the whole system, ask them for cheaper price if just mufflers/tips. You can go Eurocharged route too but your mufflers will just lay around since you need to save your tips. Atleast you can sell your OEM mufflers and get some money back.
