I am at a crossroads...
Reached a crossroads with my E55, where I need to make a decision - but would like some input...
Do I keep doing aesthetic mods, or start down the road to no end/ruin, AKA more power...?
Discuss!
(Personally think people are going to tell me to get MORE POWER!!!!!)

Lovin it! took a few days for it to 'wake up' and BAM it's a tire burner!
I think we need a Sacramento Build Day - get everyone together, some BBQ and parts - could be fun!

Justin, really no need to jump off the deep end. Get yourself a pulley and a custom tune. I gained 60hp and 70tq. The power increase is quite noticeable. There are some great deals floating around on pulleys, OEtuning/EC/Speedriven have amazing deals going on right now for tunes. Do it on the dyno for maximum gains.

Hey Justin-
Great question. I think it is all about what your personal goals are with you and the car. No doubt the E55 is one of the perfect cars to mod to go fast plus the products are out there from great suppliers. If you want to just drag the car in a straight line, you have more than enough advice on this forum to get into the 10 second club. But if you want to possibly track the car on some road courses, that requires a different set up and also involves evaluating your driving skill level. One goes hand in hand. Moderate drivers can't control the power of say the Porsche GT2RS or the Mercedes SL65 BS. Big time torque and HP levels, but on a track at speed, it can be a receipe for disaster if you also don't put in the required driving lessons to respect a car that can be off the planet fast.
But having a super fast car will help give you the push to be a better driver so it is all good.
In fact most of us on this forum will agree that we all suffer from the illness of go fast cars.
Pics of your car looks like the you have the cosmetic stuff down, your car looks great. My vote for you would be to look at some internal mods and just enjoy what the car will produce for you.......tons of smiles.
Good Luck with your choices.
