Oh yah!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Good luck with the tuning today Elliot
I remember when I was there at Silver Dollar last fall, we gutted my car and it came in at 3860lbs without me in it. I then added a C16 tune so my power jumped from 470/570 on 93 pump, to 525/635 on C16, this is on a Dynamics Dyno.
Well, my initial pull of the car was down the 1320, and it felt so fast I am 100% sure I did not have my foot to the floor and still ran a 11.0 at 129.75mph. It was violent out the hole.
I will be lending Elliot my newly finished front skinny setup which consists of 16lb 18x6 donuts with z rated tires on, so it will transfer weight like a ****. I think his jump is going to be way more than what I experienced
Did e55amgrocket have a race gas tune with a different fuel before Q16 or is this talk of unbelievable gains going from pump to Q16?
Only place I know of to buy race fuel local to me sells Sunoco though so it sucks I couldn't get Q16 if I wanted to, so I ended up with Sunoco 110, probably should have bought something a little higher though since I think he had up to 114.
When I put in 110 and had Jerry tune it he said he usually uses C16 and for 110 he only added 1.5-2 degrees of timing at different rpms. He said he would use a little more with C16 and I heard amgrocket's car had 4* in it with the Q16 which I am sure is nice since my car gained 20+whp with the 1.5* down low, 2* middle and 1.5* up top timing increase, wonder if I could have gained another 20whp with 2 more degrees of timing.

Dont waste your time running Tims blown M5 with a stock e55 Marcus, you will get gang raped! I ran Jasons blown M5 when I was making 470/570 on a Dynamics Dyno, Greg was in the passenger seat of the Bimmer, and I was alone in my car. He walked away from me badly on the top end

Check out the graph of Jasons e39 M5 beast, Tims should be very close to this, and as you can see, the car makes copious amounts of HP up top:

One pull on the remaining 110 and it took a couple of pulls to get all Q16 but here is the third pull. Now it's time to add timing and adjust AFR.
