What is crazy is that his car will be down at least 220lbs, plus he will have a ton of power added with the q16, so it is going to feel ungodly fast. It is going to he a major SOTP change, and to try harness it all together in a 1320 dash, well pantys are going to be flying to say the least!

I'm a believer after seeing your cars gains on q16. Next time Jerry is in town i'm going to try to get a q16 tune

Good luck with the tuning today Elliot

I am sure the man will post his dyno graph once done.

I remember when I was there at Silver Dollar last fall, we gutted my car and it came in at 3860lbs without me in it. I then added a C16 tune so my power jumped from 470/570 on 93 pump, to 525/635 on C16, this is on a Dynamics Dyno.

Well, my initial pull of the car was down the 1320, and it felt so fast I am 100% sure I did not have my foot to the floor and still ran a 11.0 at 129.75mph. It was violent out the hole.

I will be lending Elliot my newly finished front skinny setup which consists of 16lb 18x6 donuts with z rated tires on, so it will transfer weight like a ****. I think his jump is going to be way more than what I experienced

I know a guy who went from using 110 to Q16 and gained like 50whp on a awd turbo car.

Did e55amgrocket have a race gas tune with a different fuel before Q16 or is this talk of unbelievable gains going from pump to Q16?

Only place I know of to buy race fuel local to me sells Sunoco though so it sucks I couldn't get Q16 if I wanted to, so I ended up with Sunoco 110, probably should have bought something a little higher though since I think he had up to 114.

When I put in 110 and had Jerry tune it he said he usually uses C16 and for 110 he only added 1.5-2 degrees of timing at different rpms. He said he would use a little more with C16 and I heard amgrocket's car had 4* in it with the Q16 which I am sure is nice since my car gained 20+whp with the 1.5* down low, 2* middle and 1.5* up top timing increase, wonder if I could have gained another 20whp with 2 more degrees of timing.

Wow! 50whp gain is alot! What was I thinking this whole time getting 93 octane tunes loll. It is nice knowing the car will perform similar on the street and track though

Can't compare a turbo car to our cars. They increase boost with the tuning so its not the same. Q is also oxygenated so makes even more power than c

What did the Buckhead car run before. I told Tim I want to do some stock runs in Mexico to see how a stock E55 holds up to his new SCM5.

Don't quote me on this because the tube was finished up at like 11pm after working 18 hour days/nights to get the car finished but we picked up like 50-60hp from the last 2 degrees of timing we added before we decided to call it quits and stay safe. I'm sure we could of leaned on it some more and made even more but didn't want to chance it. I can buy the 54 gallons drums of Q16 for around $880 I believe. I don't like the smell of it that much but love the smell of U4.4,MR12 and the best is VP Pro6.1 for MX. Makes you want to sniff it all day lol

He ran 11.7X first time ever at the track, and first time out with the new setup

Dont waste your time running Tims blown M5 with a stock e55 Marcus, you will get gang raped! I ran Jasons blown M5 when I was making 470/570 on a Dynamics Dyno, Greg was in the passenger seat of the Bimmer, and I was alone in my car. He walked away from me badly on the top end

Check out the graph of Jasons e39 M5 beast, Tims should be very close to this, and as you can see, the car makes copious amounts of HP up top:

So are you saying 50hp more than a previous race gas tune? Or you added like 2* to start the q16 tune on top of your pump timing then added 2 more degrees ending up at 4 and going from +2 to +4 degrees got the 50hp? And are we talking wheel? If so that is crazy and I need this fuel!

Teaser..................

One pull on the remaining 110 and it took a couple of pulls to get all Q16 but here is the third pull. Now it's time to add timing and adjust AFR.

Nice baseline. Is it a pump gas our 110 octane baseline file? I'm interested to see what the q16 and timing does on your car
