Ok so it gets better, and I am here to help you feel better as I joined you yesterday
Left side on the ground blah blah blah. The best part is the dealer told Chrysler Warranty last year that they should be replaced in pairs as there have been updates to factory parts. CW said no way in hell and all that. So now this one goes down, the other side, and the shocks are no longer available new from MB, only remanufactured. So because of this MB once again says go ahead do both, they should be done together. So CW paid $2100+ last year for a new right one, and now they are paying another $2600 to get both replaced when if they would have done both last year it would have been $500 less. I guess they gamble that the other one won't break, but seems like foolish business decisions to me, especially when you do a 5 minute search on 'airmatic failure'.
The only thing that sucks is they have to get the parts from Germany and I won't have my car for at least a week. Anyway, thought I would share![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Arnott was great...I also got mine in 3 days...Had the old one out and new one in in 1.5 hours including cleaning the inner fender...Still waiting for my core charge refund, but that's the only thing they've come close to slacking on...

General Motors Protection Plan, bought mine at a Caddie dealer and they Certified it there and sold me the plan.
I knew from reading this forum that I wanted a warranty.
RBJ, they covered yours?

My E55 is the only one covered by the GMPP. Thank God it hasn't gone out yet. My E500 that did have failure was covered by MaxCare from Carmax and it was all covered.

Beleive me, you're not alone with the strut issue. My right front strut AND my compressor are dying, and they're making gawd aweful noises in the meantime. And the little "raise car" icon with the visit workshop icon is always coming up. anybody know what a strut compressor and labor would be at the stealership?

Woohoo!, just got my beast back. GMPP covered the bad strut and relay. Cost me the deductible only. They wouldn't bite on the other front at the same time. Good night, is it in the water or do these things just go bad all the time? Seems like all of the sudden its Airmatic fail!
