Wow, 39k miles?!... sucks to hear that dude. I think that's almost too little mileage for how old these cars are now. From what I understand airmatic is not good for cars that sit.

I wonder how much dealer would charge for both airmatic. You know you can find Arnott for much better price and lifetime warranty right ?

Plus apparently they have some a %10 discount for mbworld members. Timing might be good after all. Out of curiosity what model year is your ride? I'm surprised yours went at such low mileage

Rear is about $2000 parts, labor and tax. Strut alone is $1200 each. I had to replace one rear. My azz still hurt.

I remember read something about Arnott will come out for rear suspension this year for much cheaper. I thought your E63 has CPO warranty or Ext warranty right ?

It would of been covered under the warranty but failure was due to an aftermarket add on..like a Rear control arm

That another topic i need to warn you guys about.

Arnott has been saying this forever, I wouldn't count on it.

Boy that stinks! Had the message a few months ago and thanks to this site, removed the wheel liners and cleaned all electrical connections for the Airmatic system as well as the one under the hood. So far, no problem and working great. I am at 60k. Good luck with the fix.

I have two Arnott front struts with less than 3000 miles on them let over after my conversion to coilovers. If dealership is too much let me know. Where are you located?

Is both sides low or just one? I've never seen both front struts blow out at the same time. If its more than one it more likely your compressor failed.

That's terrible. I feel for you! Had all mine go out on my E500 within 2 months. First was front right. Then front left 3 weeks later and then a month later the rear. It sucked AZZ! Hope all works out well for you!
