I don't like using Star with the external harddrive and VMWare. I have found it works best with a T30 with Star preinstalled.

I think it's best with the internal T30 HD.
But the latest C3 works with all laptops.
My friend got it for his CL, from this dude. I played with it, it was whatever. These forums are better for diagnostics.
