Winhere Brake Rotors
Has anyone used these? Are they drilled? Any warpping issues?
I wish I had money coming out of my butt so I could get the Evosports; but these are so cheap I could replace them with every pad change.

It's always been my experience to go OES for brake rotors and then Akebono Euro Ceramic for brake pads. Excellent combination!
Try oediscountparts.com for the rotors. Around $300 a piece (CL55 price...which is significantly higher than E55)

Before I would spend $1200 for a full set for OES or alike, I would just get the Evosports for $1800 and have the floating/lightweight rotors.
It looks like Winhere might be the true manufacter for most of the aftermarket and maybe the OEM rotors. If a mono rotor is just a rotor then $230 a full set shipped is a steal...
And it looks like they are drilled.

Go with a brand that is reputable. I wouldn't go too cheap on brakes, tires & suspension.
I went with StopTech drilled rotors from Auto Talent.
StopTech has OE type drilled rotors and blank rotors for those who does not like drilled.
Got a great deal on the StopTech brake rotors+pads installed.
Auto Talent did a great job bedding in the brakes & flushing out the brake fluid as well.

OE rotors for E55 on parts.com is like $100 a pop... Where you getting $1200 price from? I would stick with OEM rotors and as OKC said, Akebono pads are VERYYYYY GOOD!

I drove Grimm's E55 & like his Centric Rotors & Pads better than other buddies with different set ups. Centric/StopTech is going to be my next set of pads & rotors.

Haven't tried Akebono pads personally so can't say much but I have heard LOTS of good things about them. On a different note, I would highly recommend Porterfield pads. They have lasted me quite a while and they've worked GREAT thus far.
I'm actually planning on calling carbotech to see what they can offer for my 211 as far as pads. I am the occasional tracker so I need something a lil more aggressive then your run of the mill brake pads. Have a few friends who run them and they seem to be great pads after getting rides AND being able to drive their cars.

"Winhere" is MIC (Made in China): http://www.winhere.com.cn/, even though Gates is an investment partner.
I'm pretty sure you understand that China steel, if not recycled, is still mostly crap? Especially when it comes down to lowly priced items?
There are many things I'd buy Chinese (staplers, calculators, cell phones, computer parts, clothes hangers, ad nausea), but BRAKE ROTORS, for a 4000 lb car? NO freakin' way. You're not winning there, here, or anywhere with that.

I'm going with Akebono pads and Goodridge SS lines for sure
I don't mind going with OEM rotors for $100 each; but if I find out they are made in China I'm going to be pissed
I would perfer slotted only or slotted/drilled.

Careful! Remember, you have SBS (fly-by-wire brake system). You need a STAR system to perform a flush. You might want to review the procedure in WIS.

Brakeperformance.com won't do slotted for the E55 anymore.
I found this site and love the Brembo slotted pattern

don't think that brakes are something I would skimp on.. just saying.. you get what you pay for. OEM or better. Us SBC folk already have enough worry.. let alone throw crap brakes on top of that.

Applied Rotor Technology quoted me $813 for front and rear drilled and slotted cryo treated rotors with porterfield pads. I have a set from them on my 8000lb Excursion with 80,000 miles on them and it still stops on a dime with zero fade. Just another option.
