I'm glad to hear about the high miles on the AMG's.
I just hit 50K and I started to mod and I got some good HP from just headers and a tune, and it's only beginning.

I'm at 85,000 - bought it with 35,000 three years ago and it's NOT my DD - I just can't stop driving it - I absolutely LOVE this car and will drive it until it dies
. I'm not going to lie though - every time I hit a ten thousand, part of me wants to cry - then I hit the gas and can't wait to get to the next 10,000 - repeat the process over again - I'm hoping once I hit 100,000 I'll actually smile at every ten thousand mile stone. Hand's down, the best 50,000 miles I've every had.

I am at 90K now....... half year ago was thinking to sell it but didn't know what to replace it so decide to keep it and add some mods.
What i have spent so far for the last 3 years:
Valve gasket
Spark plugs
oil change
water pump
engine mounts
tires

I don't feel so bad now :-) Bought mine a year ago with 59K from the original owner. He paid $92K new, I paid $32K. Car now has 66K and I have doubts it will run flawlessly for as long as I own and maintain it. Well built machines, it's the electronics that scare the hell out of me with MBs out of warranty.

Bought mine with 22k and now I'm at 48k. Yes, I almost cried when I realized how quick the miles come, so I stopped DD it. Now I take it out for fun and the track.

07 E63. 07 STi limited #606/800
Well for an E63, I have 70k now exactly. I had a friend who sold his 03 e55 with around 80k miles and just airmatic and i/c pump problems.

I was/am in the same boat. Still like it quite a lot, always looking for something different, but damn, there really isnt anything else out there that excites me more than this one.
