....Speedriven's Whipple Supercharger Upgrade....
We have two members in the 400's... and several members pulling high 11's, 170 in the standing mile, and one runs high 10's with a 100-shot.
will the kit come with larger injectors as i assume stg 1,2,and 3 will all be over 500whp ?

Supercharger plate is almost complete.

As seen in the next picture, we plan to use the stock throttle body inlet in the kit. The stock intercooler and y-pipe you see pictured is only for fitment purposes. We will be building our own intercooler setup along with our our y-pipe. The design will incorporate the bypass valve as well.
In regards to the throttle body inlet, it will require modification to fit. So after some deliberation we have come up with a few options.
First, you can buy the kit as is with the new throttle body inlet piece that has been modified and pay an extra fee for it.
Secondly, you will still buy the kit as a complete package with the modified throttle body, but when you remove your stock unit we will refund you a core charge that was applied to the kit.
Finally, if you already have an 80mm or 82mm TB you would like to use you may send it to us and we will modify it to work with the supercharger kit.
The supercharger will have new runners made and will not require the core of any other part on the car so far.

By the way, if anyone has an extra bypass valve laying around they want to let us borrow or buy let us know
It takes 4 weeks to receive an assembled blower from Whipple (our current core is a hollow mockup for dimensions), and we have about 3 weeks left of R&D before it can get into a car. So plan around the 8 week mark to have a running car with it. After that we will put some heavy and hard miles on the kit to make sure it holds up, and then it should be all ready to go!

If it takes 6 months so be it. Just produce a product that makes lots of POWAH! Heavy hard miles, I will envy the driver
Don't you think that the Stock intake plenums is not good for the SC application? I think even for a modded E55 with stock SC is not that good and will restrict some of the air passing. I don't know but that's what I think when I look at it.

Sal's SL55k made a TRUE 600+ rwhp on 100 octane tune years ago w/OE Tuning, & your TQ # is purely a TQ SPIKE IE NOT real, it blipped that # for a couple rpm's then went far South.
lastly other less modded E55's have run 180+ mph in standing mile so what's ALL this "World Record" Crud
You email a disgruntiled customer privately. Never ever publicly bash a customer. EVER! I don't care it you are Kleeman and the customer is completely wrong.
Speedriven, you are out of line.
That being said, I am looking forward to this new supercharger and numbers.
So a Company can get bashed but customers cannot??
What's good for one is good for the other....customers are not saints or gods that are free from criticism.
If you've ever run a business you know there are plenty of crappy or annoying customers (or potential or ex-customers) out there, just as many as there are crappy companies. No one is forcing anyone to buy from them, or sell to them.
Maybe that first guys response seemed a bit harsh to some, but I applaud any company or employee that has the courage to publicly stand their ground and defend their side in the same medium and tone as the customer. Most companies are too scared of backlash to have a backbone and just let things go un-answered, and I've seen many keyboard warriors with anonymity-fueled courage go wild on forums over small issues, usually without representing the entire story.
Maybe that is not the situation here, maybe it is, Im not making a statement about anyone in this thread, but I don't think companies should have to bite their tongue.
Sorry to add to the thread-hijack. Please continue with supercharger awesomeness
