....Speedriven's Whipple Supercharger Upgrade....
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The car had MBH headers, Eurocharged 82mm tb kit, FTP rail/injectors, trunk tank and H/E (unsure of brand) when it came in for the kit. We machine the tb snout without a flange. That allows us to weld on whatever flange one would want to order the kit with. If you have a MB tb or Audi or any other brand there would be no need for any adapter plate. I'd also like to try a BBK 90mm setup but I'm a bit concerned with the idle code issue that some people are experiencing even with some 82mm setup.
We also have a car scheduled to be delivered that will be getting a kit along with a set of pistons. That car will be setup to run between 22-25psi.

At lower boost (10-11psi 500whp) there really was no definitive difference between the intakes. But with a smaller pulley we noticed the soft piping started to collapse and hold us back. We are looking into making a new tb Y-pipe and replace the soft piping with hard pipe and see where we end up with some fresh K&Ns.

I would think an affordable kit for these older M113 engines would be an attractrive market if the kit is priced like you mentioned.

Who wants another car payment each month when these fully paid off cars will have an extended excitement factor for another few years!
Thanks you Speedriven for introducing serious competition to Weistec and to some degree Kleemann although I think their new Eaton blowers are not as efficient or powerful. Renntech lysholm/IHI SC kits are way overpriced and too small to generate any meaningful power. Brabus is not known for SC kits so not much of a challenge to this market.
