I would like to purchase this upgrade once everything's tested and proves to pair up perfectly with hard miles put on whichever 55K they do it to. Question I have is what are the predicted gains and should it work with all the Eurocharged Stage 3 upgrades I have on my car (headers, throttle body, front mounted heat exchanger, injectors etc..). The EC stuff should still work with this Speedriven supercharger, correct?

Guys you are making great progress and it looks like this may get off the ground ... !!!
I have a suggestion if I may ... Is there any way you can drop the S/C lower in the V and then look to add twin top mount coolers? Similar to SLR, Jag XKR etc.
More work but it could be a further step along this path - and since you going to all this trouble doing this work, I think going the xtra step may be well worth it.
Alternatively what about mounting the S/C upside down so the I/C sits on top and can be much larger and also makes the plumbing simpler...? Just a thought and not sure the S/C can be run like this anyway...
On an aside, I may be mistaken but I think the stock S/C is a 2.3l unit and the S/C fitted to the 3.2l motor is a 1.8l

I hope that core fits in the location as space is not exactly massive...
Thats a big jump in S/C size 1.9->2.9... what sort of boost jump would that whipple deliver then ? I guess we could run OEM pulleys too ...

Guys, right now we are working on thermostat housing clearance and looking at belt routing options. The Intercooler core is almost 2 inches longer than the factory unit and is far more efficient. Not to mention the blower will not be working overtime so it should not be generating nearly as much heat like the factory unit. We'll take a couple pics once we get the thermostat issue solved and post them.

I am looking forward to the results. I hope you guys do a stock vs stock comparison so we can see the difference in just volume alone. It's monumental how much power those produce especially as you increase the boost.

Plan is to start with factory boost levels and work our way up in pulley size. We have 2 cars lined up for testing, one is stock and the other one has pulley, h/e, tank. headers, mid pipe. We have a couple good dynos for base run comparisons, so we can see the change from adding the blower. Same dyno will be used for all testing too so we can have a good apples to apples comparison.

Speedriven,
Do you have any idea of possible numbers from this kit? I am really interested in getting one once the R&D is done and the numbers are in. Good work, and thanks for the updates......keep them coming.

If this happens, I don't see many 55k guys ever leaving their cars..lol Can only imagine what a fully built engine, high boost setup must be like on the platform. Whipple is amazing btw, perfect choice with the 2.9 SC, I've seen GT500s do low to high 700rwhp on this blower, oh wait that's also a 5.4
