Picking Up A 2005 E55
This week I will be picking up a 2005 E55 AMG from a local dealership down here (as long as they don't sell it from under me). It is black on black and in excellent condition. I have needed a new daily driver for quite some time now and have finally decided to pull the trigger. Haven't had an AMG since I got rid of my 2009 CL63 for my first R8. I had so many problems with my CL that I didn't think I would ever be back, but here I am now buying another one. So, I want to change the tail lights from the stock E55 lights to the stock E63 tail lights (as long as they are interchangeable). I am going to add the clear corners as well and probably add some carbon fiber pieces such as a deck lid spoiler, front spoiler, and rear diffuser. I also want to change the pop-up Mercedes symbol to the flat AMG (Affalterbach) badge. I will probably end up doing a new set of 20" wheels (nothing too crazy and I'm open to a used set), lowering the vehicle and adding an exhaust. So, how does that sound for a car that I haven't even gotten yet, lol!? 
Anyone have a cool idea for a license plate? I was thinking of including E55 in the plate as well. Just so everyone knows what I mean, I was thinking of something along the lines of "FRE55h." Hope that helps everyone understand what I'm trying to do. Let me know if you think of a cool plate. Will post pics upon delivery!
