Beautiful stable!! I wanted a GTR, then I talked to several owners and a performance shop and realized it would have to be a garage queen. I couldn't afford the upkeep and mods, lol!!! V6,V8, and V10......nice choices to have!
Beautiful home and driveway btw.... Hope the E55 can put as many smiles on your face as the other 2 monsters.

It is a blast though. The R8, on the other hand, is the perfect supercar. It is daily driveable. Comfortable, yet fast as hell. Just love it too much to rack up mileage on it. That's where the E55 comes in. It's comfortable, fast and can be used daily and when I need the four seats (I don't consider it a five-seater) or when it is raining. Lol!

By the way, just ordered the clear corners, E63 tail lights and new center caps for the wheels (as one is missing). I'm debating the E63 wheels (powdercoated black) or a set of 20" aftermarket wheels. Anybody know of any used wheels for sale (other than "desired speeds" set of E63 wheels)? Still debating the lowering module or lowering links. Not sure which to go with.
The module gives you adjustability which is handy for certain entrances to driveways, etc. Which I find valuable for a daily driver. I have left mine stock on Sport II for that reason. There are times when I have to raise it up because of the front lip (which really helps update the looks of this car). I would suggest 19" or 20" reps for a daily driver depending upon the roads in your area. I believe they're stronger than the factory boat anchors and cheap to replace if a pot hole destroys one. Since you live in the heat I'd suggest a heat exchanger, HE pump and headers as a first set of mods. That and the EC TCU. The headers and TCU are my favorite mods. Jake and Jerry are great to work with.

I like the E55, very clean. What do you have on the GTR?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably wait a bit and then do the carbon fiber pieces all together, meaning the front spoiler, rear decklid and diffuser. I have been looking into a set of 20" wheels, which will probably come in a bit as well. I'm actually not looking to do any engine mods as of right now, but it might all start with an exhaust. Roads around here are flat and smooth, so I'm not too worried about running 20's. Still will probably lower it, maybe start with STAR and if I want it lower, either links or module. Shouldn't take too long to get my E55 where I want it. Probably a couple months. I'm also going to order a plate for it. Won't tell anyone what it is going to be, but I'm excited.

Thank you! The GTR has been completely built by South Florida Turbo down here in Pompano Beach, FL. They have been superb with everything! The GTR has a complete titanium exhaust system, upgraded ECU / TCU, upgraded suspension, reinforced transmission, upgraded turbos and I'm sure I am forgetting a couple things. It's seriously a monster! Best part is, it retains the stock look (minus the lowering / burnt titanium pipes).

Good list of mods, with the earlier R35's the transmissions need some TLC but you've covered that. Have you replaced the brakes or are you rolling on the OEM brembos?

Thanks! And yes, the transmission still worries me though (even though it shouldn't). The brakes are still the OEM brembos and believe it or not, the original pads / rotors (only 7,500 miles on the car).
