Addition To The Fleet - '05 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG
Today I took delivery of this gorgeous 2005 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect daily driver. Now I can stop putting so much mileage on the R8 and GTR. Figured I would start a new thread for the pics. If you are wondering, it is pretty much fully loaded. It has navigation, panoramic roof, xenon headlights, keyless-go, heated & a/c seats, electronic trunk closer and more. The car is black / black (as you can see) and has been taken care of very well. It is a 1-owner vehicle, which I'm thrilled about. Now the fun starts...let the mods begin!
Enjoy the photos!

Thanks everyone! I have been driving it all day. It's really an amazing car. It's good to be back in an AMG. By the way, the interior is in unbelievable condition. I can't get over how new it looks. Whoever owned this before me took very good care of it and I'm very thankful for that.

Haha! Thanks guys! SterlingE55, that made me laugh. I can't really drive my GTR for too long as it is completely built pushing around 700+ hp and the fumes can really get to you! It is a blast though. The R8, on the other hand, is the perfect supercar. It is daily driveable. Comfortable, yet fast as hell. Just love it too much to rack up mileage on it. That's where the E55 comes in. It's comfortable, fast and can be used daily and when I need the four seats (I don't consider it a five-seater) or when it is raining. Lol!
By the way, just ordered the clear corners, E63 tail lights and new center caps for the wheels (as one is missing). I'm debating the E63 wheels (powdercoated black) or a set of 20" aftermarket wheels. Anybody know of any used wheels for sale (other than "desired speeds" set of E63 wheels)? Still debating the lowering module or lowering links. Not sure which to go with.

I have looked into a tune on the R8 and am just debating on which company to go with. I'm enjoying it for now with the titanium exhaust and the carbon fiber intake.

we do the N/A tuning for underground racing and know the car very well. Could also do package deals with any of the E55 products as well if you wanted to go that route...
