What do you all think of this cooling setup?

Is it going to drop significant amount of IAT's? All opinions are welcome!

I know it is called split cooling setup. I'm more concerned about the 2 inter coolers in series.

Actually there is a way. I'm working on it right now. I can post some pictures when done.

Exactly what i'm doing right now but with evosport H/E (my old setup) + new custom H/E. I think I might even change the evosport one with my custom one and mount it behind, and then add the Buckhead Imports H/E and put it infront.

The yellow return line in this pic is wrong! It is supposed to go back to the second tank or you will lose coolant on the IC circuit:112:

The S55 (w220) has two HE in series. The bottom one which stock is smaller than the E55's, and then it plumbs directly into a thinnish half-height in front of the main radiator and is as wide. Just upgraded the bottom one.

I have always heard and most women will confirm that 1 large one is better than 2 small ones.

Renntech has done the same on my car , except I havent been able to locate the extra resevoir... can the two HE be plumbed without it ? .. I Think they kept the OEM one and added another BEHR one i cant see the part number of the second one so I am not sure if the two are identical ..but I can find out ... if there is room to change the OEM to the EC one, keep the second .. that " I think " would be better .

no secret, just different. Gimme a min................

Okay, here you go.

I have a Eurocharged HE up front with a Meziere pump, a 3.5 gal trunk tank with a Rule2000 pump, AND.......(secret)...a Cobra HE welded under the trunk. All 3/4 hoses and a 1.5 gal meth tank. Meth only comes on at 11lbs of boost.

Now the other secret is the route it runs. Some people will say its wrong, but It works with my setup.

It goes from trunk tank - SC - front HE - Cobra (rear) HE - trunk tank

Example: In 89 degree weather we filled the trunk tank with ice. We did a fourth gear pull on the dyno to 181mph and when the car was back at idle we opened the trunk tank and checked (with laser thermo) the temp of the water in the tank. It was 69 degrees and no ice left. Also my surge tanks are cold to the touch after a pull (due to meth). IATs through the entire run NEVER went over 110.

My 11.03 run at Silver Dollar Raceway was done in 100 degree weather or should I say "HEAT".

You guys should look into the CL65 H/E with the fan attached to it. I have that setup + lower valance mount H/E + Stock H/E with the new Bosch pump. Best system so far :Y
