Aux. Heat Exchanger, Split Cooling - Done PICS

Will provide a write yup and IAT data later on. here are the pics. I bought this set up from PTE for a killer price. It is an aux heat exchanger which is in series with the OEM heat exchanger and a Meziere WP136 pump, got rid of the CM30.

looks very nice..

I like the end tanks of the HE.

Your testing would highly be dependent on the ambient temps.

I'm hoping that splitting the system can reduce a bit of that spike after 100mph

nice writeup!! Interested to see the IATs. I was told the power steering reservoir was too small for this application but I see so many running it with success.

It appears like there is room for one really thick core. As opposed to having one block the other. Do you think that by blocking the OEM H/E you will have diminished results? It does not look like much are will reach the primary H/E. Awesome right up and thanks for the review. Please post before and after IAT logs when available.

i took it for a brief run yesterday and the results were very promising. i still have to bleed the air out of the system

AFAIK, most of the gains come from simply separating the systems - thereby preventing your IC fluid from comingling with 195*F engine coolant. The size of the additional reservoir is an incremental benefit, with larger typically being better within reason.

shardul, nice pics!

In my set up I hoover around 15 to 20F above temp in 90+ degree heat. Last 2 weeks around here (So Cal) they were blazing hot and I was able to do some worst case data log.

The worst day was around 108F here in Ontario.

Did a 40-110 pull in 3rd. Max IAT was 127 in 89 F ambient temp.
Under normal drivning conditions my IATs were again 8-10 over ambient.
So I am guessing the aux heat and meziere pumps works very well.

I want to highlight something,

Your set up is good and the idea is great specially if there is an improvement than the stock set up, but the front new aux HE won't block the air from passing to or the original HE at least reduce it?

As I said, overall I think it is very good set up specially if there is improvement in term of cooling.

OK thanks. I'm really looking for a write up for the Evosport cooling upgrade, which looks similar to this, but haven't been able to find this either.
