yup, just dissapointing when the guy driving the car says 'gee, my brothers Cobra pulled harder than this when you floored it'
of course, I drove home from lunch using the shift buttons and he grew to appreciate the beast a LOT more... but dammit, you shouldn't NEED to coax your car into a downshift!

On my car there is increased resistance as you push the pedal closer to the floor, to the point I thought I was to the floor. One more push through the resistance triggers mine. My original mistake back in the day was I had my seat to far back and was not getting the pedal down far enough. Not sure if your aftermarket covers are hurting you.

Ive gone for rides in cobras an they always feel like they pull harder than the benz... at least thats how it felt to me. But when I lined up against them I would walk them. My personal opinion is that our cars dont feel as fast as they actually are.
