I don't know why you guys are getting too over excited and even a little immature SO LET'S KEEP OUR AMG INTEGRITY.
I spoke to him, he seems like a cool guy and he is willing to work with me. We will meet up tonight if the weather permits if not then this will be carried over to sometime tomorrow. The car does look tastefully modded for a BMW
As long as no one is spraying it should be some good old M vs AMG fun times

Waiting........................................... ....for excuses like flat tire, window fluid needs changing, steering wheel cover came off, fuzzy dice fell off mirror, seat belt chime playing backwards, pistons need to be rotated,etc..... Pretty much sums up the last 3 series thread here. LOL.

They never run. 3 series guys are like Gustav but only bench race or make terrible videos of "races" where the other guy doesn't know he's being raced, with few exceptions (looking at you Walter).

First off AMG ETR is a very cool guy. He is mature (probably exceeds most of you guys here :p ). I arrived late and he didn't mind. He was waiting for me for a while until I finish my booty calls. We met up, (I went alone). His car is in absolutely pristine condition and very tastefully modded. Love the orange wrap! NOT A RICER at all. Really surprised how fast his car is! His car would destroy stock 55's with no problem.
So we met up, and went to an undisclosed closed circuit location.
We line up, I'm on his right side, he's on my left. We did a rolling start. I don't know which speed but AMG ETR can chime in on that one but I think the first run was from 80km/h ~ 100km/h
1st run: I pull by 1 car length and get max 1.5 car lengths and stay there. Reached 280+ km/h. I won.
2nd run: was a bit of a mess. No honks. I punch it first then I let go. AMG ETR punches it after then lets go. Then we both punch it same time I get a car length and stay there. I won.
3rd run was interrupted
After, we pulled off for a chat and a smoke. I admired his car and he admired mine, then we left. It's late here already so it's time to hit hay
He had a go pro installed on his passenger window and will upload the video when he gets a chance (waiting on him). I don't have anything. Looking forward to the video.

Bimmer for dinner...congrats on the win benz_addict. Since there was some talk about weight earlier, I just want to put it out there that CL55s are heavier than E55s in case any BMW guys think the coupe is lighter.

Where did the 3000lb figure come from?
A stock 3 series coupe is c class territory @ 3,500 lbs
Race seats don't save that much weight
And he has a supercharger?

Well, this proves is that he's not a modded CL55 ETR, most aren't. Honestly tho, good thing he was a man of his word, showed class and you guys did it smoothly and no one was hurt

. I will work on cutting the videos this weekend and hopefully post it up by Monday for you guys. Benz_Addicts car sounds ridiclous!! Other than the C32 AMG which was modded, all other AMG's which i had raced were stock so it's definietly nice to see what these baby's can do with some solid power mods.
