So I've been eyeballing the Vossen CV3 for a while now and it's a wheel I like very much,simple clean and aggessive..But since it's been out for a while I wanted something a little different,so I went with the new CV5..I'm glad I did and like the way it came out..Did a brake job and painted the calipers while I was at it,let me know what you think..

Kustom,I had the wheels painted in Iridium silver because the only CV5's they had in stock were the matte finish and the matte with brushed finish and didn't like how they looked on my car,too dark..Jav at Vossen told my wheel guy that they weren't getting the silver finish for atleast two months so my wheel guy suggested we paint them..I was a little sceptical at first but really like the finished product!!

Wheels pop in the sun, what wheel place did you work with? Got a #..

 

Painted it silver just for that,the clean look..Didn't want any black on the wheel,or any other color for that matter..Maybe later on when I get bored of the look I'll switch up the paint scheme..The wheels are 20/9 with 245/30 and 20/10.5 with 295/25 Nitto Invos..

 

Wheels Boutique 2,305-554-5055 Speak to Chichi,he really has a good eye for wheel setups..He has a nice 2011 S550 on the newly released 22" CV3..

Not sure how they look cheap as they are made by the same company as the CV3,Vossen I didn't want a me too wheel,"hey I have CV3's,yea me too!!" Not taking anything away from the CV3 as I really like them,just wanted a new look..

 

Miguel : I think those wheels look pretty damn Good. The problems is your camera & my Camera skills need a tune up. LOL I'm No Harold Bovee ! But the sun light is overexposing the wheels. and the True color & Finish are Flushed out. Try a early morning photo shot , You know sun up time 6:00 - 6:30 AM
In know you spent a lot of time cleaning the Brake calipers , and painting them . That is a pain in the a$$, But it is worth it.
