Haha I dunno about nines, I'm just bolting stuff I have laying around to it and my headers suck because there's no room in my car. I'm going to run "full weight" as well, in my case over factory weight. I'm putting 82mm tb, ported heads, 180 pulley, built Trans and probably torque converter on it. Will see what the future holds.

Love to go ballz to the wallz with you, Steve, and Elliot at the fastest track in the country! I heard that The Ricker might join in too...

Dirt Scooters
Hopefully we have a good turn out and a bunch of the fastest cars there too. I'm so bored with not doing anything with my car I've decided to put some compounds on my work truck lol. Looks like it will be 64mm over a S483 race turbo. Hello 90psi and an easy 650hp/1400+ ft/lbs of torque. Should make a good tow rig

You can yes. But I don't want to. I have 211 E55 motor in my 211 E55. They have student heads, different compression etc

I'm late to this party. That's some impressive shearing. More impressive still is how the actual damage initiated and the amount of work the motor saw before detonating. You might want to forward the data + work to AMG for evaluation's sake. I suspect they'd be interested, especially when it's from a customer car as opposed to works.
Either way, congrats on blowing through (?) and finding the new project.

PS: special aside for the EV12 - I dunno when you built that or how I missed it, but great concept / execution.

Looks like the Clk55 and the 211 E55 rods are slightly different. Turns out that ridge in middle of the rod is an oil port. The Clk55 has it and E55 doesn't
Thanks. I don't think AMG cares though
Yea the E55 engine wasn't what I was expecting so taking that back. Going to build a motor for the clk. First step is sleeves but I have to wait a while for that.
